Testimonials

Here are a few quotes from my students’ cards and letters that were sent to me over the last few years.

"My son and my daughter are taking piano lessons with Marina for few years now and enjoying it very much. Marina is a highly skilled professional with infinite patience and individual approach to every student. Her teaching style is not only thoughtful and effective, but also promotes taste and appreciation for music in kids of all ages.  Thank you so much Marina!"  L.G.2021

"Marina is absolutely fantastic. I've been with her for 8 years now and every moment I've spent with her has been a pleasure. What I really appreciated about her was that she gave me the freedom to choose my own songs. While simultaneously broadening my horizons by introducing me to composers such as Tchaikovsky, Shostakovich, and Chopin. I think that's what makes her stand out from all of the other piano teachers; it's that all of her students are more motivated to play/practice since they were the ones that picked out their own songs. Her teaching style is a good mix of theory and helpful pointers while you play. Marina takes great care to make sure that her students get a quality musical education and that can be seen in the incredibly high scores that all of her students get on the Certificate of Merit exam. I can't recommend her enough, I know that if it wasn't for her, I probably would have quit piano a long time ago. But thanks to her caring guidance, I know that I will continue playing piano while in college and then beyond." K.M 2020

"Marina is a wonderful piano teacher. She is very encouraging, patient, very capable instructor, who is able to find a special, personalized, and individually crafted approach toward each one of her students. With every new lesson, my daughter has been continuously en reaching her skill set as a growing young pianist, not to mention has developed more and more enthusiasm towards piano playing, and daily piano practice in general." "With Marina we found a very experienced, talented and fun-loving music teacher. We have been taking her piano lessons for the last 4 years. She is very well organized, patient and friendly. My two boys 6 years apart always speak very highly about Marina. My older son participates in Certificate of Merit program and with Marina's guidance has been passing it with honors. Students also have a chance to show what they had learned during the year by performing at the spring studio recital. We are happy that we found Marina. Thank you for helping my kids developing an interest in music!"   M.S. 2019
